Geodelphia, a group devoted to promoting geothermal heating and cooling in Philadelphia, has gathered geothermal case studies in the City of Brotherly Love. Projects covered range from the German Society of Pennsylvania (a 130-year old building that significantly lowered monthly utility costs by installing geothermal), to beloved landmark Bartram’s Garden, to the Kensington High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (who reported a 58% drop in baseline operating costs after going geothermal).
