The township of Springfield, PA partnered with Spotts, Stevens and McCoy to perform an energy benchmark and found that their Administration/Police building and Free Library building were under-performing. SSM’s energy team, Practical Energy Solutions, identified opportunities to adjust each building’s automated controls and HVAC performance. After partial implementation of the recommendations, the Administration/Police and Library buildings showed a respective 25% and 17% drop in energy use, resulting in significant energy bill savings.
