Job creator and small business owner Allaina Propst opened her dream business in her hometown of Honesdale, PA. From the start, PPL and Act 129 rebate programs helped her get up and running in brewing and operating a restaurant with all new energy efficient equipment and systems. Here & Now Brewing Company's 160 year old restored property is a prime example of the possibilities of retrofitting existing buildings with energy efficiency systems for great savings, and greater profits. While operating a brewery and restaurant, Allaina spends 60% less than the building's previous tenant did on electricity, and the previous tenant only had a heat pump and lights operating in the space.
