DMI, a Charleroi-based manufacturer of energy-efficient ducting products, relies on a skilled workforce to keep their operations ahead of the technological curve. In February 2023, they encouraged the next generation by participating in a BotsIQ Girls Exploring Engineering event at the local Commonwealth Charter Academy. Over 100 girls from local schools heard from DMI engineers Julietta Maffeo and Megan McKinney about robotics and engineering before working on their own robotics projects.
