Township Prioritizes Public Safety with Energy Efficiency Improvements at Mercerville Firehouse

Hamilton Township's Mercerville Firehouse looked to Tri-State Light and Energy to help them leverage NJCEP incentives to replace outdated and unreliable equipment with new, energy-effiicient equipment. TSLE assessed the firehouse's needs and determined project costs to be around $125 thousand (reduced to less than $38 thousand with NJCEP). Tri-State Light & Energy anticipates the project will save Hamilton Township $12,961 in annual energy costs (95,292 kWh and 3,236 therms per year), leading the project to pay for itself in less than three years.
